ISLAMABAD: In most cities of the country, monsoon rains have inundated low-lying areas, causing floods in seasonal streams, destroying crops and submerging hundreds of houses.
In the last 24 hours, more than 12 people have lost their lives due to monsoon rains and the recent flood situation in Pakistan.
In Mianwali, severe flooding in seasonal streams due to rains has severely damaged crops.
In Rojhan, floods from the Zangi and Suri streams originating in the Sulaiman Mountains reached the surrounding settlements and caused the inundation of more than 100 houses. The residents themselves moved to safer places.

Incessant rain in Dadu has caused flooding in seasonal streams and severed land connectivity between Dadu, Johi and hundreds of villages in the Kachho region.
In Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a roof collapse killed two children and injured three people, including a woman.
