My dad’s not perfect, but he tries his best,
Sometimes he’s good, but sometimes he jests.
He can be tough on himself, it’s true,
And asking for help? That’s hard to do.
He might seem grumpy, but his heart is kind,
And often, in solitude, he’s confined.
He’s the reason I smile, my source of glee,
But his life’s story? Its complex, you see.
It’s like a puzzle, with pieces untold,
Each one a story, waiting to unfold.
In every moment, there’s something new,
A lesson learned, a dream pursued.
My dad’s like a superhero, strong and brave,
Facing challenges, with each hurdle he’ll wave.
He’s my rock, my support, through thick and thin,
A shining star in life’s chaotic spin.
So here’s to my dad, with love so true,
For all he does, and all he’ll continue to pursue.
You may not see it all, but in every mile,
He’s my dad, and he brings me endless smiles.
