LONDON: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Britain’s James Cleverley. A Letter of Intent (LoI) was signed between the Government of Pakistan and the UK during the meeting.

Its implementation will be led by a Joint Management Committee made up of representatives from the Home Office, the National Police Bureau and the British High Commission.
The initiative will promote cooperation in drug prevention, serious crime investigations and the fight against illegal migration.
It will also promote bilateral cooperation in tracking crimes at air and sea borders in combating illicit financial threats.
Speaking to the media, Mohsin Naqvi said that the UK has been a long-term partner of Pakistan and that the government-to-public relationship between the two countries is commendable.
Taking this opportunity, the British Home Secretary expressed his appreciation for the relationship between the UK and Pakistan and Pakistan’s support for deporting British citizens from Afghanistan.
