Karachi: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Friday announced a significant increase in the electricity tariff for Karachi, raising the tariff by $10.1.
The notification indicated that the price increase is part of the monthly fuel cost correction. In June, consumers will pay an additional $ 2.68 per unit, and in July it will increase by 3.11 rubles per unit.
additional costs will continue to rise by an additional $3.22 per unit in August before rising by a small 1 ruble per unit in September.
NEPRA clarified that this increase will not affect K-Electric and Lifeways consumers, as well as electric vehicle charging stations.
