DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Muhammad Ibrahim Khan has said on Thursday that all judges should perform their duties efficiently.
Troubled people come here to solve their problems, so all efforts should be made to provide timely justice to clients.
He said, Allah Taala loves justice and fairness, Allah Taala is kind to us, honored us, resources have been given, health and well-being have been given and authority has also been given.
He said that we also have to do justice among the creatures of Allah Taala.
He said, therefore, look at the citizens who come to seek justice with respect and ensure that justice is delivered and you will definitely get the reward for it.
He urged the lawyers to treat clients with kindness and try hard to provide justice to the people.
He expressed these views during a meeting with judges, High Court Bar Cabinet and District Bar Cabinet members on the occasion of his visit to Dera Ismail Khan.
On this occasion, he further said that the relationship of sincerity and love between judges and lawyers should be maintained.
He said that since Dera Ismail Khan is included among the remote stations, the judges have to face difficulties during their posting but you have to perform your duties in a good manner, putting aside the difficulties.
He said that he has provided his services in different positions for more than 31 years and has also served as District and Sessions Judge in Dera Ismail Khan for a period of one year.
He said that I am there as a role model, I always took decisions with the intention of improving people to give them justice and make peace among them.
He said, all judges should be accountable to keep the system transparent and add value to hearts, never back down where you believe the rule of law is concerned.
He said that 900 petitions were disposed of in the Peshawar High Court, the credit of which goes to all the staff of the Peshawar High Court.
He said that we all have a relationship of respect among ourselves. In our family there are also many people associated with judges and lawyers, so always maintain this relationship of respect and I pray that this relationship will continue forever.
As the Chief Justice, I have a great responsibility and I can swear, that no decision has been biased since the beginning till date including decisions and order sheets, because we have to appear in the court of Allah Taala, so I will advise you all, always support the truth and never be negligent and rather, work with utmost responsibility and dedication.
Earlier Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Muhammad Ibrahim Khan was presented a guard of honor on his arrival at Dera Ismail Khan.
After which Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Muhammad Ibrahim Khan planted a sapling in the premises of the High Court, while site selection for High Court Bar Room, President Office High Court Bar, Scanning Branch, Record Room and Waiting Rooms (Male and Female) were also inaugurated.
Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Muhammad Ibrahim Khan said on this occasion that the women’s waiting room is a good initiative, similarly, more steps should be taken to solve the problems faced by the ladies on a priority basis, so that our mothers, sisters and daughters do not have to face problems.
A function was also organized in the High Court Barroom on this occasion, in which Judges, Additional Registrar Peshawar High Court Dera Ismail Khan Bench Ghulam Abbas, High Court Bar Association, District Bar Association District Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, South Waziristan, Tehsil Bar Association, senior lawyers and other lawyers attended.
Speaking during the ceremony, Chief Justice Muhammad Ibrahim Khan said that the demand for proper bar room and digital library was presented by the advocates of the High Court Bar and the bar room really needs this time, hence making it a part of the ADP scheme, while the digital library will also be available soon.
He thanked the lawyers for their respect and assured to take steps to solve their problems.
