LOWER DIR: The newly appointed Assistant Director Local Government and Rural Development Department (LG&RDD) Dir Lower Umar Rahman on Thursday took the charge of his office.
On the occasion the newly elected cabinet of All Secretaries Village Councils Association (ASVCA)Dir Lower and senior secretaries from Lower Dir district called on the newly appointed Assistant Director LG&RDD Dir Lower Umar Rahman and congratulated him on his new posting.
President ASVCA Dir Lower Muhammad Zeb and former president ASVCA Dir Lower Salahuddin alias Chief of Munda separately discussed with the newly appointed AD matters related to the wellbeing of secretaries fraternity besides various issues faced by Village Council secretaries.
They expressed the hope that the main AD office will work in close liaison with NC/VC offices in the larger interest of the public.

They also appreciated the services of the outgoing AD headquarter Timergara Amir Nizam Durrani for the people of Lower Dir district.
The ASVCA leaders paid rich tribute to Amir Nizam Durrani for the great responsibility he showed on the occasion of the tragic death of late Azizullah Khan a Village Secretary in Lower Dir district who died in a road mishap on October 23 2023 which earned a good name for the department.
The ASVCA leaders also called on the newly promoted officials of LG&RDD Dir Lower Zarbaz Khan and Kiramatullah and felicitated them on their promotion to the post of Supervisor in BPS-14.
The ASVCA Dir Lower leaders thanked DG Iftikhar Alam and all officials at the DG office in Peshawar for taking personal interest in the process of promotion.
