Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that state institutions are proud assets of Pakistan and no one will be allowed to carry out negative campaign against them.
During the meeting with MQM Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, matters of common interest and the political situation of the country were discussed and malicious propaganda against state institutions was strongly condemned.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that state institutions were a source of pride for Pakistan and the behavior of elements involved in organized propaganda against these institutions amounted to enmity against the country. No one will be allowed to run a negative campaign against these institutions.
He further said that any effort to hinder the development of Pakistan and the prosperity of its people will not succeed as personal interests have no value in the face of the national interests of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that for the sake of Pakistan, everyone must move forward with mutual unity and consensus.
