Lahore: Muslim League-N President Javed Latif has said that no political party calls something a threat to the country if it really poses a danger.
In a press conference, Muslim League-N leader Javed Latif said, “Who stopped work on CPEC during PTI’s tenure? Now they are saying they will close CPEC phase 2, the country cannot afford any more experiments.”
He said, “Former Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial has taken action against the violation of the national constitution. PTI is only recommended for violation, no restriction has been imposed yet. Was there no restriction imposed on Tehreek-e-Labbaik during your tenure? Today they are being facilitated with immediate concern.” “
Javed Latif said: “PTI founder wants to impose strict conditions on IMF. Efforts are being made to create conditions like Kenya in the country. Today we cannot afford more experiments. No one is worried about the complex situation of Pakistan today, no political party is saying anything about the threat to the country.”
The N-League leader said: “All stakeholders weakening the state should come together. A party that takes action for the happiness of its country and nation becomes an example. Democracy weakens when national parties weaken.”
He further said, “If this is a crime in the interest of Pakistan, then this crime should be committed by the entire nation. The government may want to accept but will not allow the successful completion of CPEC phase 2. Politicians should end the anger and hatred of the state against each other”.
