Mardan:Chairman of Omeed Ki Kiran Foundation Imran Khan has said that an old age home will be established for the homeless elderly people. Philanthropists should go ahead and play their role to eliminate diseases from the society. He was addressing the Meet the Press at Mardan Press Club . He said that ray of hope is providing facilities for children suffering from thalassemia and dialysis patients and maternal and child. The people of other districts of the province are not only being given treatment, but Nadar youths are being fully supported for getting education. Imran Khan said that a person gets peace by serving humanity. The philanthropists of Mardan should also help the poor and helpless people so that they can serve the country better in the future. In the hospital, check-up is done on a daily basis in the OPD. He said that 516 patients have been registered since 2013. Apart from this, 3 thousand 360 blood transfusion services have been provided. So far 28 thousand 677 patients have been given free treatment while 700 deliveries have been made. By starting dialysis in 2018, services have been provided to 7 thousand 447 patients so far. He said that land has been allocated for the establishment of a permanent building of the foundation, on which work will be started soon.
