RAWALPINDI: Zimbabwean pacer Richard Ngarava replaced England seamer Olly Stone in the Multan Sultans squad for the remaining matches of the ongoing ninth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Tuesday.
Ngarava took 94 wickets in 88 T20 matches during his career. Stone was ruled out of PSL 9 due to a right groin injury last month.
The England speedster got injured during his first match of PSL 9 against Islamabad United on 20th February. He was forced off the field without completing the remaining two balls of his fourth over.
Sultans are currently on top of the points table in PSL 9 with six wins in seven matches and have already qualified for the playoffs.
The Rizwan-led squad will take on Peshawar Zalmi at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi today.
