Lahore: Our Mission Fund, a humanitarian organization working to alleviate hunger and poverty, has launched a major initiative to support vulnerable communities in Tharparkar, Pakistan. In response to the dire situation faced by many families in the region, our Target Program conducted a massive ration drive during Ramadan, providing essential food to 400 deserving families, impacting the lives of 2,000 people.
Tharparkar, known for its climate and chronic challenges, has long struggled with food security. The recent drought has aggravated the situation and left many families unable to provide adequate and nutritious food. Recognizing the need for help, our Purpose Foundation has stepped in to provide support and assistance to those most in need.
The ration packs distributed by the Makkah Foundation are carefully prepared to provide food and nutrition to hungry families. Each packet contains essential nutrients such as wheat flour, rice, corn, tea, sugar, cooking oil, ghee, salt, vermicelli, syrup and milk powder. These items are essential to ensure the family’s nutrition and well-being in difficult times.
The distribution takes place during the month of Ramadan in March and April, and 400 deserving families from Karangri village and its surroundings are selected because they need help. Our Purpose Foundation remains committed to ensuring that no family goes hungry in Tarpark, and sharing these resources demonstrates our commitment to this goal.
“We strive to provide compassion and support to communities in need,” said Nisha Mandani, Founder and President of Our Purpose Foundation.
