KAGHAN: On Eid, the Kaghan Valley witnessed an incredible influx of more than 300,000 tourists in 53,220 vehicles, including a mix of small and large cars and 16,540 motorcycles.
Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) staff have been working hard all the time to meet the needs of tourists during this peak season.
Under the direction of Advisor to the Prime Minister on Tourism and Culture Zahid Khan and under the supervision of KDA Director General Shahbaz Khan, special arrangements were made to provide facilities and guides for a large number of visitors.
This includes the active participation of KDA officials and the traffic and tourism police to manage traffic and maintain the cleanliness of the valley. Problems such as waste disposal are solved, mainly due to the large number of tourists.
Also visiting Kaghan and Naran Valley were 200 foreign tourists. They explored various beautiful places like Shogran, Kaghan, Naran, Siri Paye, Batakundi, Jel Saif-ul-Malook, Lake Lulusar and Lalazar.
This is done to maintain the integrity of the valley environment during the sacrificial festival, to ensure the disposal of sacrificial waste to prevent pollution. Tourists indulged in recreational activities such as rafting and adventure travel in the Kunhar River. Lake Saif-ul-Malook has emerged as a popular destination in the northern region of Pakistan, attracting a large number of tourists against the serene backdrop of snow-capped mountains.
