ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan and Qatar have signed several agreements and letter of intent (LOI) with leading Qatari companies, the main purpose of this initiative being to significantly increase.
In addition to these agreements, the Pakistani delegation held an important meeting with Mr. Hamad Saleh Al Qamra, Chairman of Al Qamra Holding, aimed at recruiting Pakistani manpower for various company projects.
The visit also included a tour of View Hospital, part of Elegancia Health Care, where Pakistani healthcare professionals are being recruited following a recent memorandum of understanding between Elegancia Health Care and the Overseas Employers Corporation (OEC) of Pakistan.

Highlighting Pakistan’s potential as a key labor exporter, SAPM Malik detailed the government’s efforts to streamline this process through quality recruitment agencies, skill development and addressing the needs of foreign employers.
The CEOs of the Qatari companies expressed their satisfaction with the Pakistani workforce and their willingness to increase the Pakistani workforce in their companies in accordance with Qatari government regulations.
These agreements and discussions represent a significant step in increasing the presence of the Pakistani workforce in Qatar, paving the way for mutual economic growth and stronger bilateral ties.
