Islamabad: Honorable Speaker of NA Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said that Pakistan attaches great importance to brotherly and brotherly relations with Turkmenistan. “The two countries are strongly connected by the eternal connection of religious traditions, culture and common history. The development of trade and economic relations will usher in a new era of regional economic development with Turkmenistan,” he said. The Speaker expressed this thought in a meeting he called with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atta Jan Nurlivij Mulamov at the Mejlis House.
The speaker said that it was decided to develop relations between the parliaments of the two countries. He also sent an invitation to the Speaker of the Parliament of Turkmenistan to visit Pakistan with a parliamentary delegation, as parliamentary diplomacy plays an important role in strengthening relations between the two countries. The Mejlis chairman said that Turkmenistan can use Gwadar port for trade with the Middle East and other countries. Issues related to the premature completion of the Tapi gas pipeline project were discussed.
Atta Jan Nurlivij Mulamov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan, congratulated Sardar Ayaz Sadyk for being successfully elected to the position of Chairman of the National Mejlis for the third time. He said that Turkmenistan highly values relations with Pakistan and wants to expand them. He also said that there are huge opportunities in Pakistan and Turkmen traders and businessmen can take advantage of them.
