Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Buluch said on Friday that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar had a successful meeting with Chinese officials during his visit to China.
Both countries agreed for peace and investment in the region. Mumtaz Zahra Buluch said in a weekly press conference that various investment issues including CPEC were discussed in the meeting of Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
A discussion was also held on the progress of the second phase of CPEC. Various issues such as peace and stability in the region were discussed.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said in a meeting with Chinese authorities that he has decided to prevent terrorism and eliminate forces that disturb the peace.
He said that India is involved in human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and Indian forces are continuing their aggression in the occupied valley. The international community should pay attention to the Indian atrocities that are taking place in Kashmir.
Buluch said the attack against Palestinians in Gaza must stop immediately.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar will lead the Pakistani delegation to the regular meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers at the invitation of its Kazakh counterpart. 20-21 of this month in Astana, Kazakhstan.
