LAHORE: Pakistan may make three changes in the playing XI for the first T20I against England in Leeds on May 22.
Fast bowlers Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf will join the lineup along with top order batsman Usman Khan. Opener Saim Ayub and pacer Hasan Ali, who recently featured in the third T20I against Ireland in Dublin, could drop out.
Harris and Usman did not feature in the three-match T20I series against Ireland, which Pakistan won 2-1.
Meanwhile, the team management is considering dropping the pacer to make way for Shadab Khan or Abrar Ahmed.
To test their World Cup combination, Pakistan will field an all-strong squad for the England series.
The final decision will be taken after consultation with head coach Gary Kirsten, who will join the Pakistan team tomorrow.
The four-match series between Pakistan and England will be the team’s last assignment before the T20 World Cup, which begins on June 1 in the United States and West Indies.
