Islamabad: Pakistan has decided not to participate in the Ukraine Peace Summit, the Foreign Office said on Thursday.
FO spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Buluch said in a press conference that Switzerland had invited Pakistan to attend the summit on June 15 and 16, but Pakistan did not participate due to other commitments. He said that the quest for global peace is ahead of Pakistan.
The press secretary also said that there was no exchange of letters between Pakistan and India. He reports that Indian media is often based on speculation.
“Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Narendra Modi on his inauguration in a tweet. It is common for the government to officially congratulate the elected leader of another country,” he said.
In the plan to return illegal aliens, a spokeswoman confirmed that the execution was taking place. Buluch added that Pakistan has repeatedly highlighted the threat of terrorism and has expressed concern about people who want terrorism in Afghanistan.
The next spokesman said that he expects progress in the strategic partnership between Pakistan and China in the coming months. All issues, including the protection of Chinese citizens and bilateral relations, are covered in a joint statement between the two countries.

He also said that Khadija Shah’s case is currently under trial and will be decided according to the laws of Pakistan and the court will take the final decision.
It is noteworthy that China also decided not to participate in the Ukraine Peace Conference. Russia has indicated that Beijing understands that such a conference would be meaningless without Russia’s participation.
More than two years after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Pakistan is facing another diplomatic crisis.
For the first time, an invitation was sent to an international conference on the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in Islamabad.
Buluch had earlier confirmed that Pakistan had been invited to the summit in a briefing last week. He said the invitation is being investigated.
