LAHORE: The Pakistan men’s cricket team will travel without a spin coach for the tour of Ireland and England.
Legendary Saeed Ajmal took over as the bowling coach in the T20I series against New Zealand, but will not be the coach for the tour of European countries, which is looking at the situation.
Apart from Ajmal, there are no changes to the support staff.
Meanwhile, the decision to appoint a spin bowling coach for the T20 World Cup will be taken by new white ball coach Gary Kirsten.
The National Cricket Academy has the option of handing over the responsibility of training the spinners to Said Ajmal.
A camp will be held for the national team players before the tournament against Bangladesh at home.
Pakistan will host Bangladesh for a two-Test series in August.
