Islamabad: On April 24, 2024, a two-day conference on Social Entrepreneurship in Pakistan was organized by the Pakistan Accountability Lab Pakistan with the support of the US Mission in Pakistan and in collaboration with Pakistan and the United States. Accountability Lab Executive Director Fayaz Aseesen, while talking to participants at the opening ceremony, highlighted the conference’s key focus on the relationship between social entrepreneurship, business and civic engagement, its impact on Pakistan and ways to address related issues. The conference, attended by 120-150 mid-level graduates and experts from the private and public sectors including civil society organizations, academics, members of parliament and the media, from all over the country, engaged in discussions, fostered partnerships and paved the way for a more socially and economically conscious Pakistan. sustainable.
