Islamabad: HE Henny Fokel De Vries, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, called on the Minister for Defence, Defense Production and Aviation, Khawaja Muhammad Asif.
The federal minister emphasized that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with the Republic of the Netherlands and wants to further strengthen defense cooperation.
The latest security situation along the Pak-Afghan border and Pakistan’s commitment to peace and stability in the region were discussed.
He also impressed upon Pakistan’s determination to eradicate terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
The two sides reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and explored various possibilities for further strengthening of political and economic ties with a focus on global and regional issues. The Dutch side has expressed its willingness to engage constructively with Pakistan in various sectors.
