Muzaffarabad: Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir has announced that it is protesting against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s controversial visit to India’s illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Pasban-e-Hurriyat Chairman Uzair Ahmed Ghazali said that the Indian Prime Minister cannot change the disputed status of Kashmir by visiting the occupied state under military supervision.
He said that the Indian Prime Minister cannot change the status of an internationally recognized disputed state, adding that more than 20 million citizens of IIOJ&K have already rejected India’s illegal occupation.
He said India should remember that it exists as an aggressor and usurper country in Kashmir.
“The Kashmiri people will never accept his forced sovereignty,” he added.
Ghazali said that the Indian Prime Minister took away the Kashmiri people’s homes, land and identity on August 5, 2019.
They also know that Narendra Modi has used the Supreme Court of India for political purposes against the Kashmiri people.
He said protests against Modi’s visit would be organized on March 7 in different areas of Kashmir.
