LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) wants to replace the great Sir Vivian Richard as coach of ICC T20 World Cup in West Indies and USA.
Sources in the PCB have revealed ongoing talks with Richards. The Board is interested in his experience and knowledge, especially in the performance of the West Indies leg of the T20 World Cup. They praised his success as a mentor with Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
However, there is one obstacle to overcome. Sir Vivian Richards has media commitments during the World T20. Despite this challenge, PCB decided to secure Richard’s services. They are actively looking for a solution to solve the scheduling problem, indicating that they want to train the Pakistan team.
