LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday issued no-objection (NO) for 12 players to participate in various leagues around the world.
Some of the players on the list are part of Pakistan’s central contract, while others have not played in the Green Shirt for a long time.
Off-spinner Abrar Ahmed and pacers Zaman Khan and Haris Rauf will be in action in the Major League Cricket (MLC) starting July 5 in the USA.
Mohammad Haris, Salman Ali Agha, Shadab Khan and Mohammad Hasnain (not a central contract) will be in action in the Lankan Premier League (LPL) in Sri Lanka.
Sharjeel Khan and Sohaib Maqsood, who have not played for Pakistan for a long time, will participate in the Legends World Championship from July 3 to July 13.
Left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir will play county cricket from July 4 to July 20, explosive batsman Fakhar Zaman will play in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) from August 29 to October 6, while wrist-spinner Usama Mir will underdog England appear in the film . From July 23 to August 20.
PCB has a policy that players under contract cannot play in more than two leagues. Because of this, batsman wicket-keeper Azam Khan was withdrawn from LPL because he could not get NOK off the board.
Azam is part of the LPL B-Love Kandy squad that will start their campaign against Colombo Strikers on Tuesday.
Saim Ayub and Azam are part of the Guyana Warriors for the upcoming CPL 2024, but both have not received the NOC from the PCB.
