The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unveiled the official national team kit for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 at a ceremony in Lahore on Monday.
The video showed Saim Ayub, Naseem Shah, Babar and others doing exercises. It was concluded that all the players have donned the new jersey for the upcoming ICC event.
Pakistan is in Group A of the World Cup with India, Ireland, Canada and co-hosts the United States.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan team will leave for Ireland tomorrow ahead of their T20I series against the home team.
The 18-man squad announced for the Ireland and England T20Is will be reduced to 15 players for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 after the first T20I against England on May 22.
The original deadline for submitting teams was May 1st, but teams can make changes until the 25th of the same month. After that, any changes will require the approval of the event’s technical committee.
It is worth noting that the 20 qualifying teams are divided into four groups of five, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Super 8 round. At this stage, the qualifying teams will again be divided into two groups of four, with the top two teams progressing to the semi-finals, with the winners then playing in the final on 29 June.
