LAHORE: Provincial Development and Working Group Punjab (PDWP) in its 6th meeting in the current financial year approved two development programs for SHC&ME and Environment sectors at a cost of Rs 56.560 billion
P&D Chairman Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan approved this meeting here on Monday:
Establishment of Nawaz Sharif Cancer Institute and Center at a cost of Rs 56 billion.
Investigating Particulate Matter Sources for Informed Decision Making in Punjab at a cost of Rs 560 crore.
The meeting was attended by P&D Board Secretary Dr Asif Tufail, Environment Secretary Raja Jahangir Anwar, Health Minister Ali Jan Khan, Chief Economist Dr Nasir Iqbal Malik, P&D Board Members, Heads and other senior officials of respective provincial departments.
