Mardan: On the Instructions of Director Excise and Taxation Islamabad, physical verification of vehicles with Islamabad registration has been started in Mardan for the first time for the citizens of Mardan and surrounding areas. Excise staff conducted physical verification of more than hundred vehicles. Bakht Munir, Farman Khan and other official’s of All Pakistan Car Dealers Association were also present on this occasion.
All Pakistan Car Dealers Association jointly inaugurated the physical verification in Mardan along with officers of Excise Department. Speaking to the media after the inauguration, Excise officers said that on the repeated request of Bakht Munir Khan and Farman Khan and others officials of All Pakistan Car Dealers Association, Director Excise and Taxation Islamabad, in the first phase, in Peshawar for the citizens of Peshawar. A day was fixed for physical verification of vehicles with Islam Abad registration. After that Excise Department Islamabad has taken this step for the convenience of the citizens of Mardan and physical verification of the vehicle was done here in Mardan.
For verification, it is necessary for the vehicle owners to bring original documents, original number plates and vehicles without tinted glasses. This facility will be available to citizens at their doorstep. Officials of All Pakistan Car Dealers Association Bakht Munir Khan, Farman Khan and others appreciated the initiative of the Excise Department and said that the citizens of Mardan will now get rid of the roundabouts of Islamabad. Physical verification of vehicles without wasting time and money is commendable. He said that providing this facility at the doorstep of the citizens here is nothing less than a blessing. Officials of All Pakistan Car Dealers Association said that the process of physical verification of vehicles will continue every week.
