Islamabad: Finance and Revenue Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik informed the National Assembly (NA) on Friday that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) European flights are expected to resume.
Responding to the notice issued by the UK and the European Union to ban PIA flights, he said: “A detailed action plan from Pakistan has been submitted to the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and is currently under review.”
“We expect the inspection process to be completed in two to three months and flights to Europe will be restored.”
The minister said that the European Commission on Air Safety had removed Pakistan from the concern list on May 14, describing it as a positive development.
