Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday praised police and Border Patrol agents for foiling a terrorist attack in Takta Baig, Khyber district of Pakhtunkhwa.
The Prime Minister paid tribute to Police Ijaz and Officer FC Shehzad who sacrificed their lives against terrorists for the sake of the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif prayed the martyrs rest in Jannah and their families bear this irreparable loss with patience and strength.
The Prime Minister said that the armed forces, police and law enforcement agencies have sacrificed a lot to achieve peace in Pakistan.
He said that the people of Pakistan are proud of the brave heroes and their families and have come together to remove the menace of terrorism from the country.
Police and FC personnel were martyred when some unknown terrorists attacked a police post in Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday night.
According to details, terrorists used rocket launchers and heavy weapons to attack a joint police-FC picket in Khyber district, resulting in the martyrdom of a police officer and an FC officer.
