Islamabad: Pakistan’s representative to the United Arab Emirates, Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, said on Friday that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was long awaited and would yield great results. the result is positive. in the next few months.
In an exclusive interview with PTV news, he said that this visit will bring positive results not only in terms of economic and other cooperation, but also in terms of alliances and friendly relations. He said Saudi Arabia believes in Pakistan’s economic potential, including its demographics, location and natural resources, and said the UAE would go “very far” to invest in projects in Pakistan.
He further said that the UAE’s priority is to invest and cooperate with Pakistan in the agricultural, information technology and energy sectors, which will provide new job opportunities for the youth.
He said, Pakistan is trying to develop relations with the UAE in all sectors, especially in the IT and tourism sectors, adding that Pakistan has a tourism industry that can attract UAE citizens and citizens from other countries.
The government of Pakistan assured that it will play every possible role to bring together the business people and industrial cooperation of the two countries.
He said that the emirate has allocated $10 billion to invest in promising economic sectors in Pakistan, and the prime minister discussed bilateral relations, including cooperation in the political, economic, social, cultural and defense sectors.
The ambassador also said the UAE will develop renewable energy projects in Pakistan as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif encourages more companies to tap the country’s potential in the alternative energy sector.
