Islamabad: Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Climate Change and Environment Coordination Romina Khurshid Alam visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad to express her deepest condolences to the government and people of Iran on the tragic death of President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir Hossain Abdollahian and other senior Iranian officials who died in a helicopter crash on Monday.
Talking to the Iranian Ambassador, Mr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam, Ms. Romina Khurshid Alam paid rich tributes to the late Iranian President and recalled his recent remarkable and memorable visit to Pakistan.
During the meeting with the Iranian ambassador to Pakistan, she also recalled the unique and unprecedented role of the late Iranian president for the betterment of the global Muslim community at all levels and deepening the relationship between the people of Pakistan and Iran.
The Prime Minister’s Coordinator also fondly recalled her interactions with President Raisi during his recent visit to Pakistan and praised his pledges of unwavering support to Iran Pakistan and the people of the country at all levels for socio-economic development.
