The Prime Minister of Pakistan has described the visit to China as a good sign for the economic future of the country that is the reason why his statements are being appreciated across the country. In the prime minister’s meeting with his Chinese counterpart all aspects of bilateral relations were discussed and global developments including mutual interest were also discussed. After the Prime Minister’s recent meeting with the Chinese counterpart, useful MOUs have been signed between the two countries. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his Chinese counterpart Li Qiang expressed their continued commitment for the development of CPEC, they also agreed to increase cooperation by upgrading the project.
In the meeting PM expressed continuous commitment and support for the development of CPEC and agreed to increase further cooperation by upgrading the CPEC. It should be remembered that 23 memorandums of understanding and agreements including television, film, and transport infrastructure were signed between the two countries during the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding.
The completion of CPEC will have a great impact on the lives of ordinary citizens. According to the official data, the ML-1 project will cost 6 billion 800 million dollars. This project will be completed in phases. Likewise, under the second phase of CPEC, including the completion of 1800 MW hydropower projects between Pakistan and China. It has also been agreed to increase cooperation in agro-industrial and mining sectors. Until now, the arrears of China’s power projects installed in Pakistan under CPEC have been more than 500 billion rupees. According to the Prime Minister, the long-standing and brotherly relations between Pakistan and China are getting stronger with time while China is an important partner in the development of Pakistan.
The PM said that all possible steps are being taken for security. The Prime Minister has encouraged Chinese companies to set up industries under BTOB arrangement in Special Economic Zones and has invited the Chinese textile industry to set up their industries in Pakistan. The Prime Minister said that we are making full preparations related to the PAC-2, which will further promote the CP-2 and economic relations, the focus of the upcoming visit to China. The way China lifted 700 million people out of poverty is a beacon for us. Pakistan wants to benefit from Chinese experiences to increase its exports. On other hand for the next phase of CPEC we need to provide our workforce with the best technical and technical training.
Similarly, Pakistan wants to take advantage of the expertise of China’s IT industry for the development of the IT sector. Prime Minister’s interest in CPEC can also be seen from the fact that he has asked Chinese companies to set up electric and hybrid vehicle plants in Pakistan. He has also invited and instructed to solve all the problems of Chinese companies. It is hoped that the successful visit of the Prime Minister to China will accelerate the completion of the projects of the second phase of CPEC, which will definitely see the fruits of CPEC being transferred to the people. The most ambitious project of the second phase of CPEC is the upgradation of Peshawar-karachi railway track and making it two-way, on which the Prime Minister of Pakistan is personally keen to start work. If the government succeeds in starting work on this important project of the country this year, it will definitely be considered as one of the outstanding achievements of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.
