Power Problems Persist: Cooperation Needed for Solutions
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

TALASH: In June and July due to the intensity of heat and the increase in temperature, the load shedding will further increase. All the problems of electricity and their control are not possible without the full cooperation of the people.
These views were expressed by the SDO of Pesco sub-division Talash (WAPDA Department) Ehtisham-ul-Haq while talking to media representative and senior journalist Habib Muhammad Khattak. Inspector Syed Hasan Khan was also present on this occasion. Ehtisham-ul -Haq said that the production capacity of electricity automatically decreases in the summer season because the ratio of supply and demand does not remain the same, the supply becomes less and the demand becomes more. In the summer season, the use of electricity increases everywhere.Be it domestic users or commercial users, due to usage of many electrical appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, fans, air coolers, water coolers, bulbs, irons, motors of wells and running heavy machinery etc. the power voltage decreases with demand and supply. Apart from the technical fault, there are different kinds of faults in the heavy power transmission lines every day. The biggest problem is that the number of personnel in the Talash Sub-Division Office is very less and the population and area of the area is very high. Talash has the status of a tehsil. It is where the four union councils of Noorakhel, Dushakhel, Shahikhel and Banda Gayi are remote and difficult areas. It is beyond our power to provide timely services in case of complaints everywhere. It is not our job to charge the electricity consumers according to the unit consumed, but it is in the authority of the higher authorities. We cannot do anything about it. Line losses and electricity theft are also big problems for us, which must be eliminated. We are adopting different types of plans for this. We are also facing problems like shot fall and low voltage. Even eliminating all these problems or reforming and reducing them is not possible without the full cooperation of the people. SDO PESCO Sub-Division Talash told journalist Habib Mohammad Khattak that I appeal to the public through the medium of the media to cooperate with us as a patriotic citizen. Do not use electricity unnecessarily and illegally. Save for yourself and for the country and the nation. In solving all the problems related to electricity, the people should sincerely ensure full cooperation with us…..
