WANA: On thursday in Govt High School Chaghmalai of District South Waziristan Upper, Pakistan Red Crescent Society newly merged districts organized a function regarding “Global Hand Washing Day” under the direction of Engineer Rao Hassan.
Tribal elders and teachers along with students participated in the event.
Speakers said that many diseases can be prevented due to cleanliness, and students emphasized the importance of hand washing through painting.
Pakistan Red Crescent Society South Waziristan Upper District Program Officer Sher Mohammad said, that they will soon start working on hand washing projects in different areas. Although where along with hand washing, people will also be given awareness about cleanliness.
He said that we have the best team in terms of hygiene, who provide sanitation sessions to the local people on a daily basis.
Tribal elders participating in the event thanked Pakistan Red Crescent society for providing excellent health facilities in Upper South Waziristan, and said that thanks to the excellent staff, the best treatment is available not only at the doorstep,
Rather, the best awareness of disease prevention is also being provided.
At the end of the ceremony, students, teachers and tribal elders also took a walk regarding the global hand washing Day.
