Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has ordered to speed up the privatization process.
The chairman of today’s high-level meeting in Islamabad to review the privatization process further directed to take urgent measures to strengthen the capacity building of institutions responsible for privatization to revive the economy and speed up the process of providing relief to the people.
During the meeting, a committee was also set up to review the proposal to transfer power companies to the provinces. The committee will submit its proposals to the Prime Minister.
