Jahangir Alam, former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s butler, has been revealed as a billionaire.
According to international news agencies, Prime Minister Hasina Wajid also said in a statement that the butler working in her house became the owner of Rs. 400 million crowns.
Following this, the Central Bank of Bangladesh ordered the confiscation of the bank accounts of Jahangir Alam and his wife and institutions related to the prime minister.
The Anti-Corruption Commission also launched an investigation and said that Jahangir Alam had allegedly fled to America with his second wife.
Jahangir Alam also has assets worth millions of dollars and a luxurious three-story mansion and his lifestyle is also luxurious.
Jahangir Alam was part of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajid’s staff and worked as a support worker but had millions of rupees in his and his wife’s accounts.
