The private education sector also demands the allocation of funds for private education institutions in the annual budget
Private schools have an important role in developing and improving literacy and it is the government’s responsibility to provide facilities at the official level.
Interview with Malik Abrar Hussain, Central President of All Pakistan Association of Private Schools and Colleges and senior leader Malik Dein Muhammad Awan.
Malik Abrar Hussain, Central President of All Pakistan Association of Private Schools and Colleges, requested the government of Pakistan to provide government support to private educational institutions. It is the responsibility of the Government of Pakistan to provide the facilities.
He expressed this view in a press statement yesterday on the occasion of a meeting with senior leader Malik Dein Muhammad Awan. Taking this opportunity, Malik Abrar Hussain said that private educational institutes bear the burden of government education. According to Article 25-A of the Constitution, it is the responsibility of the state to provide good education to children. Even the government should support such educational institutes which provide education at low cost per child. The private education sector not only educates many children but also provides employment to many people. It also teaches children who are citizens of this country and children of citizens. The government is going to present its annual budget in a few days. In such a situation, we demand a public-private partnership to promote the education sector. Adequate funds should also be allocated in the budget for the private education sector to help the country progress in the education sector. In that event, Malik Din Muhammad Awan explained that the private education sector helps the government and the government should also help them. They say it is the government’s duty to support private schools that pay less than government children.
