Although there is a lot of talks going on about the general elections in the country but the good thing is that there is some color of democracy. While a political party of the country has been clearly thrown out of politics for the first time in general elections.
It is a part of our politics, here in every era a political party is under reproach. This is not a new thing, what is happening with the under-reputed party today, this is what he did with other parties during his time and facilitated against the under-reputed party of that time.
Therefore it will not be wrong if says that history is reviving itself. However even in this situation, efforts are being made by the political parties to preserve the democracy. On the contrary if the performance of these political parties is critically evaluated, it is known that any political party has no future program to manage the country.
So far, the manifestos of most of the political parties have not come out however the Pakistan People’s Party has not put the traditional slogan of bread, cloth and house in its manifesto but it has announced to give 300 units of free electricity to the people.
This slogan may have been borrowed by the People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and his team from the Awami Janata Party, the ruling party of the Indian state of Delhi but it is a good slogan in these circumstances when the people are longing for electricity and gas.
People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said in one of his meetings that after coming to power, his party will close 17 major ministries in the federal government and spend 300 billion rupees on the people. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that subsidy of 1500 billion rupees given to fertilizer, energy and other sectors will be given directly to workers and farmers.
They will provide free electricity up to the 300 unit. He said that they will generate their own electricity by setting up solar and wind power projects, WAPDA and K Electric will not be needed.
Salaries will be doubled within the old politicians are the past of Pakistan, you are the future, we will work hard together and contribute to the development of the country.
People’s Party will fulfill this promise if it comes to power. But this is a good example which other parties especially like Pakistan Muslim League (N) should also bring forward their manifesto. About which most of the analysts has the opinion that there is great chances for PMLN to come in power this time? Therefore it should not take the lead in the slogans of public service but his leadership is still not trying to move out from Lahore.
The justification for this is being presented by the Muslim League (N) that it did not get time due to the late constituencies which is the reason it requested the Election Commission to delay the schedule for two days. Although the question arises that for the past three years the said party was busy with the struggle of overthrowing the Tehreek-e-Insaf government and then forming its own government but why did not plan for the upcoming general elections in which the introducing of a new manifesto is also included which has not come out yet. There, some critics also said the Muslim League (N) is fully confident that its government will come without a manifesto. However, in this situation when other parties have jumped into the general elections without a manifesto. A manifesto has come out on behalf of the People’s Party, on which many objections can be raised but it has taken the initiative. Keeping this in mind other parties should also bring forward their manifestos so that the journey towards a real democracy can be started.
