Muzaffarabad: A massive protest was organized by Pasban-e-Hurriyat against Indian government and Bharatiya Janata Party’s Anti Muslim activities in Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the details, large number of citizens participated in the protest who carried banners and placards with phrases stated Bharatiya Janata Party is a threat to the peace in South Asia, Killer Modi besides chanting Anti India and pro freedom slogans.
Speakers on the occasion has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party and its allied parties are responsibile for unrest in South Asia.
They said that Narendra Modi on August 5, 2019 ended the special status of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir which is a henious international crime and opposes the United Nations Security Council resolutions.
They maintained that genocide of Kashmiri youth in fake encounters is a part of conspiracy to promote Hindutva agenda.
“Modi government is on the destructive path of changing the population ratio by illegally issuing domiciles to Indian citizens to turn the dominant Muslim majority state of Jammu and Kashmir into minority”, they lamented.
Speakers said that Narendra Modi’s government has jeopardise the peace in Kashmir by imprisoning thousands of Kashmiri citizens and their leadership including workers of the All-Party Hurriyat Conference, leaders of political and religious parties, human rights activists and journalists.
They said that the BJP government sitting in Delhi is trying to hide its war crimes in Kashmir by imposing the worst black laws.
Speakers further said the people of Jammu and Kashmir will not accept Indian sovereignty in any way.
The protesters appealed to the United Nations to play its role for just and lasting solution of the Kashmir issue.
The rally was led by Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Shaukat Javed Mir, Usman Ali Hashim, Syed Asif Gillani, Azmat Hayat Kashmiri, Muhammad Ishaq Shaheen, Muhammad Yousuf Budhana, Muhammad Ismail, Liaqat Ali Rana, Faisal Farooq Sheikh, Muhammad Fayyaz Khan, Khurshid Ahmed Awa, Amir Abbasi and others.
