Muzaffarabad: People in Kashmir demonstrated protest on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kashmir.
According to details, a large number of citizens participated in anti-Modi demonstration organized by Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir carried banners and placards.
People were chanting Anti India and pro freedom slogans like “Killer, killer, Modi, killer”, “Kashmir who watered with our blood is our”, “Go Modi, go back” etc.
Kashmiri protesters also set on fire the sculpture of Narendra Modi as they consider Modi, the killer of thousands of Kashmiri citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, speakers said Narendra Modi visit to Srinagar under the guard of soldiers is moral defeat for Narendra Modi.
They said that people of Jammu and Kashmir rejects the illegal occupation of India in disputed territory.
“If Narendra Modi has moral courage, he should come forward for Plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir”, speakers asked.
“Kashmiri people will continue their struggle till independence”, they reiterated.
They said that people of Azad Kashmir are with the brethren of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their resistance against India.
“Narendra Modi is the eternal enemy of the Kashmiri people, the visit is unacceptable”, they added.
Protest was led by Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Hurriyat Leaders Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Usman Ali Hashim, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Dr. Muhammad Manzoor, Muhammad Fayyaz Khan, Tanveer Durrani, Riaz Awan, Faisal Farooq Sheikh, Khalid Mehmood Zaidi and others.
