LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and private hospital owner Dr Shahid Siddique was shot dead outside a mosque in Lahore, Valencia on Friday.
According to the police, Dr Shahid Siddique was targeted outside the mosque after he had finished Friday prayers.
Unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle fired four bullets at the PTI leader.
The police took the body into custody and started an investigation.
After reporting the incident, Punjab IGP Usman Anwar ordered immediate action to nab the culprits.
The IGP also sought a detailed report from the DIG Operations regarding the incident.
