Ahead of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit this month, a senior PTI leader said the party “welcomes our brothers in Saudi Arabia and also encourages foreign investment in the country”.
Speaking at the same event, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said, “Social movements are gaining momentum when martial law is imposed and the Constitution is suspended.” He claimed that the Constitution was practically destroyed in the country.

The May 9 incident was part of the violent protests that erupted last year after former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s corruption-related arrest from the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
During the protest, PTI supporters allegedly damaged public and private properties and attacked military installations in different parts of the country.
