LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Wednesday acquitted PTI diehard Sanam Javed in the May 9 riots case filed against her in Gujranwala.
A two-judge bench headed by Justice Asjad Javaid Ghural heard Sanam’s appeal against her physical custody in the Gujranwala case.
Granting the motion, the court ordered that she be acquitted of the case.
Sanam Javed approached the Lahore High Court against the Gujranwala Anti-Terrorism Court’s decision regarding her physical detention in the May 9 riots case.
