LAHORE:- A new transfer policy for teachers was introduced in Punjab, sources of School Education Department.
Under the new policy approved by Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, teachers can apply for transfer throughout the year due to difficulties such as disability, widowhood, divorce or remote conditions.
The details of the policy indicate that public transfers will be allowed twice a year, mutual transfers twice a year, and districts and marriages will be open throughout the year.
Under the new policy, all forms of advertisement will be completed within 30 days and applications from all district committees will have to be decided at the same time.
