ISLAMABAD: Ramadan festivities titled ‘Maah-e-Isar O Aman’ with Tilawat and Naat competition began at National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage – Lok Virsa here on Thursday.
Lok Virsa has planned a number of activities to make this Ramadan truly special and will continue until Eid.
According to Lok Virs, the Ramadan festivities will start from 5pm daily and will include Tilawat and Naat competitions, spiritual reflections to devotional performances.
The festivities will also include cultural food stalls daily from 5:00 PM, Tilawat and Naat competition before Iftar and developmental performance after Iftar from 6:45 PM.
We have an amazing Islamic calligraphy exhibition lined up for all art lovers,” Lok Virsa Executive Director Uzair Khan told APP.
He said that Lok Virsa is pleased to announce an enriching event that celebrates the beauty of Ramadan – the Naat and Tilawat Competition.
