Rana Mashud, head of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, said on Friday that the country’s economy was “reviving” after the general election in February.
“The world is now focused on Pakistan. The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will be revived,” said Mashud in a press conference together with the Commonwealth delegation.

Talking about the deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Mashud said, “A deal with the IMF is the need of the hour.”
“Foreign investment has been allowed to enter the country for seven years.”
Last month in April, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the country is on the verge of economic stability.
The Prime Minister took advantage of this opportunity to say: “The country wants to rely on public-private partnership. Investors and businessmen are welcome here.”
Prime Minister Shehbaz said, “We are taking steps to facilitate passengers at the airport.”
“Ensuring transparency in the entire airport outsourcing process is our top priority,” the Prime Minister said.
