This incident took place in the house of a person named Afsar Khan in Raghzai area, 20 km away from Wana, the headquarter of Lower Waziristan district.
Eyewitnesses say that people pulled people out from under the rubble with their help and however, later the rescue operation team and the police reached the spot.
But before that, the people buried under the roof of the room were sent to Sheikha Fatima Hospital Sholam and District Headquarter Hospital Wana in private vehicles.
Afsar Khan, the head of the family, died on the spot, while five others died on the way.
The deceased includes the head of the family Afsar Khan, Din Shifa, Ajwa bibi, Sultan, Naseema bibi and Halima bibi.
Among the injured are Noor Ayaz, Ahmed Ali, Abdullah, Asma bibi, Nakhmeena bibi, Shana bibi, Aqal Meena bibi, Rehmata bibi, Tariq Khan and Amirullah.
Family sources said, many of the injured are said to be in critical condition and those who have been referred to Dera Ismail Khan, for treatment after this incident, there is sadness in the entire area
