DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Regional Police Officer Dera Ismail Khan Division Nasir Mehmood Satti inaugurated the newly constructed Police Lines Dera at Police Lines here on Wednesday.
DPO Dera Nasir Mehmood, SP City Tayyab Jan, SP Saddar Khalid Usman, DSP Headquarters and other police officers and police personnel were present on this occasion.
After the inauguration, RPO Dera Nasir Mehmood Satti took a detailed look at the newly constructed kitchen and mess hall and got full awareness of DPO Dera.
Later RPO Dera Nasir Mahmood Satti mingled with the police jawans and officers, where he said while addressing that all resources will be used for the welfare of the police, for which the resources will not be allowed to get in the way, providing quality food and accommodation to the police personnel is among the top priorities of the police department.
On this occasion, he stressed on the policemen and said that the protection of basic human rights, public order and crime prevention are the primary responsibility of the police.
He said, No lapse will be tolerated in timely redressal of public grievances and redressal of Ceylon.
He said that the police is a disciplined force, any action against the rules and regulations of the body is not acceptable and there is no room for negligence in the police force.
He added that such a parallel system of punishment prevails in the police force, thanks to which the policemen who perform well are encouraged, while a police officer of any rank with poor performance is equally discouraged.
RPO further said, that it is our first priority to take measures on an emergency basis for the welfare and benefits of police force personnel.
