MOSCOW: Russian Outside Serve Sergei Lavrov will visit the Iranian capital Tehran on Monday for talks with territorial partners, his ministry’s representative has confirmed.
Iran’s official IRNA news office detailed prior that the outside priests of Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia had been welcomed to meet for the talks.
“We affirm Lavrov’s arranged talks in Tehran on Monday,” remote service representative Maria Zakharova told the TASS and RIA news agencies.
The talks come in the midst of pressures over the Center East and uncertain debate between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which propelled a lightning hostile against Armenian separatists in Nagorno-Karabakh final month.
Since propelling its ambush in Ukraine final year, Russia has turned to Iran for military bolster and financial associations as both nations confront a pontoon of Western sanctions.
