SWAT: Saidu Medical College’s administration here in swat district extended a warm welcome to the newly enrolled students by distributing “white coats” and “planting fruit trees” on the college premises. A dignified ceremony marked the white coat event at Saidu Sharif Medical College, Swat.
The ceremony saw various dignitaries’ participation and addresses, including SMC principal Prof. Dr. Israrulhaq, Prof. Dr. Samiullah, vice principal Dr. Naik Zada, and Director of Academics Administration Syed Mohammad Naeem. Heads of all departments, such as Professor Dr. Wasil Khan from the Medicine Department, Professor Dr. Samiullah from the Surgical Department, Professor Dr. Nikzada from the Anatomy Department, Naeemullah from the Chemical Medicine Department, Dr. Amreek Lal from the Pathology Department, Dr. Anwar Ali from the Biochemistry Department, Dr. Umar Haleem from the Paramology Department, Dr. Muhammad Yusuf from the Forensic Department, and Dr. Sania Khattak from the Gynecology Department, along with representatives from the Swat Press Club including Chairman Sherin Zada, Joint Secretary Umar Farooq, and Senior Journalist and former Chairman Fayyaz Zafar, graced the occasion.
Principal Dr. Israrul Haq, in his address, extended a warm welcome to the newly admitted students and congratulated them on their success in the medical test. He emphasized the significant responsibility that the new students bear in upholding their parents’ expectations, bringing honor to the nation, and contributing to the service of the nation. Dr. Israrul Haq highlighted Swat Medical College’s esteemed position as one of the country’s premier government institutions, instrumental in producing competent doctors for several years. He noted that thousands of male and female students have graduated from Saidu Medical College and are actively serving communities nationwide. Parents of the newly enrolled students also graced the occasion.
