ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) worker Sanam Javed has been arrested again after being released.
According to sources, Sanam Javed was arrested by Islamabad police. An hour after her release, she was arrested again.
Lawyer Ali Ashfaq confirmed the arrest of Sanam Javed and said that Sanam Javed was re-arrested by Islamabad police.
Earlier, an Islamabad court acquitted Sanam Javed in a case filed by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
He said, “We handed over Sanam Javed to the police without resistance and this is the behavior of those who respect the law like we did.”
Earlier, the Islamabad District and Sessions Court acquitted Sanam Javed in the FIA case.
After being released from court, she left with her lawyers.
Notably, Sanam Javed, who was arrested on 10 May 2023, was released after 14 months and 4 days in jail.
